A new start

After 3 years of more or less the same design of my website, I have now published the latest and completely revised version.

After 4 years of WordPress and 3 years with Grav, the time has come: I have decided to redesign my website from scratch, simplify it and use a new CMS, which makes it easier for me to maintain and manage. Of course, changing old structures is by no means easy and it's always difficult to confront yourself and others with new, unfamiliar things, but occasionally it's time to try something new and leave the old behind.

I have relaunched my website - this time with Kirby.

It wasn't just a change of CMS, but a conscious step towards more clarity, speed and structure. I removed old content, reorganized it and created a lean, reduced site architecture that focuses on the essentials - without ballast, without complexity.

In addition to this technical realignment, I also want to make more use of the site's content in future:

In my blog, which I've been neglecting for the last few years, I'll now be publishing articles more often on a wide range of topics - from design and technology to research and insights.

The old version of my site is available indefinitely at legacy.lukefrancke.de.

I'm looking forward to the next step - and it's about time!
